Little Rockers is the perfect first band experience for children ages 4 to 7!

Every child becomes part of a small rock band with up to four other young musicians, creating friendships while making music together. Led by one of our energetic and experienced instructors, each 45 minute weekly class is filled with laughter, creativity, and hands on musical fun.

Your child will get to play real instruments including guitar, keyboard, and drums, sing rock songs designed specifically for beginning musicians, and experience the thrill of performing as part of a band. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, teamwork, rhythm, coordination, and a lifelong love of music.

Whether they’re already singing around the house or just beginning their musical journey, Little Rockers is a place where every child can shine, have fun, and discover the joy of making music together! 🎸🎹🥁🎤

  • Fridays, 4:00pm – 4:45pm

Mini Musicians

Can’t decide which instrument would be best for your child?
How about… all of them!
In our introductory Mini Musicians class, students rotate through several different instruments: drums, percussion, ukulele, keyboard, and voice. The instruments rotate every four weeks, which coincides wonderfully with young children’s attention spans!

For Children Ages 5-6

  • Thursdays, 4:30pm – 5:10pm

  • Saturdays, 9:30am – 10:10am

  • Maximum of 5 students per class

  • $160 per month
    $75 New Student Enrollment Fee applies
    Includes recitals and all Opus11 Community Events

Class Details:

  • Provide a 6-month intro to instrumental music

WunderMusic – Preschool

Celebrate your preschooler’s growing independence and love of the outdoors with activities involving the four seasons! Activities include singing, chanting, moving, focused listening, musical games, exploring musical instruments, creative movement and storytelling.

For Children Ages 3-5

  • Saturdays: 11:30 – 12:15pm

  • Class Size: Maximum of 6 students

  • $126 per month

WunderMusic – Toddlers

Participate with your toddler in singing, chanting, moving, dancing, listening, and playing simple instruments while developing a strong musical bond with your child.

For Children Ages 15 months – 3 years

  • Saturdays: 10:30 – 11:15am

  • Class Size: Maximum of 6 students

Sing with Soul

Sing with Soul offers small ensemble voice lessons where students learn how to use their voice, develop a healthy vocal technique, and gain a vast repertoire of songs they can perform with others, and as solos!

For Children Ages 8-11

  • Wednesday, 5:00pm – 5:45pm

Yes we can! Opus11 School of Music partners with South Bay Pianos to provide you with the opportunity to rent brand new, high quality Kawai pianos, ranging from space-saving digital pianos to high end grand pianos at an extremely competitive prices to fit both your space and your budget. We can bundle your lessons and instrument rental together so that you’re paying only one fee for your lessons and your instrument! Pianos can be rented for up to one year and the cost of your rental may be applied towards the purchase of the instrument.

Children practice regularly once a routine and habit have been established. To help parents with this effort, we hosted an interview with Bay Area parenting educator and classroom management mentor, Laura Myszne, which is available for you to view right here!

Absolutely! We offer virtual instruction for all instruments and select group classes as well.

Many studies show that public performance helps to boost self esteem and confidence. While performing and speaking in public can be certainly be stressful experiences at first, however the more frequently we do it the better we get. We strongly encourage participation in the recital events to achieve these benefits and to have the opportunity to support fellow Opus11 students.

Absolutely! We want you to have the opportunity to find the instrument you love to play. Because we get to know each student and strive to understand their goals and abilities, we can seamlessly transition a student from one instrument to another.
